Meet Barbara
Barbara Robinson-Cole is a human resources professional, avid traveler, and ex-pat who is originally from Pittsburgh, PA. After retiring from a career in the military, followed by a few more years in corporate life, Barbara packed her bags for the ex-pat life she had long been dreaming of and headed to the Middle East. She now lives in Madaba, Jordan where she continues to work as an HR consultant and operates her company Going Global with Barbara. She has traveled to over a dozen countries, lived in Europe and the UAE, and is passionate about the educational and transformative power of travel. Barbara started Going Global to help Black youth and other novice travelers to achieve their dreams of going global. She hosts individual and group tours in Paris and Jordan. She also writes and speaks about the importance of seeing the globe.
