What resources (books, blogs, services, apps) did you utilize to help you go abroad & thrive abroad?

Third Culture Kid for raising a child abroad, but mainly cultural blogs and IG now to find inspiration. As mentioned, we have always had cross-cultural trainers and classes via the company prior to our moves. I knew what I was getting into. I have also always been lucky enough to meet a cultural friend, or what I call "Fairy Godmother or Father," a local who shows me the ropes and invites me into their world.

What wellness practices/mindset shifts have you adopted to support your wellness, sustainability, and longevity abroad?

I sing! My mental health is tied to travel, music, and culture. My therapy is my voice lessons, piano lessons, and a weekly 90-minute massage. Learning a language is also a wonderful tool. It brings such self-confidence and helps one integrate.

What is the motto (affirmation, prayer, poem, song lyrics, etc.) that you live by?

If I'm here, then there is someone like me here...because if I am here...
