Migration Advisory
Formerly Move Abroad with Intention
You've done the research. You've listened to the podcasts — maybe even this one.
You've scrolled the Facebook groups and saved the threads. And you still don't have clarity.
That's not a research problem. That's a decision problem. And decisions this significant deserve more than content.
THE OFFER:
This is a six-week, one-on-one advisory engagement for women who are seriously considering — or actively navigating — international relocation.
Not expat coaching. Not a visa consultation. Not a listicle with a human attached.
A rigorous, honest, research-grounded conversation about one of the most significant decisions you will make with someone who has the lived authority, legal training, and documented evidence to ask the questions most relocation conversations never get to.
What makes this different:
Christine Job is not someone who moved abroad and started a coaching practice. She is a J.D., a migration researcher, and an incoming doctoral researcher studying voluntary migration as a structural phenomenon. She has been embedded in the communities you are considering joining since 2017. She has documented 150+ women's migration experiences across 50+ countries — not as content, but as primary research.
When you work with Christine, you get the full weight of that.
INVESTMENT
$1,650 — Six weeks, one-on-one, via video call.
Not sure if this is right for you? The discovery call is 30 minutes, free, and requires no commitment. We'll figure it out together.
WHAT WE COVER IN SIX WEEKS:
-

Week 1 — The Real Question
Not "should I move" but "what am I actually deciding?" We interrogate your motivation — the difference between migration as liberation and migration as relief and build an honest foundation for everything that follows.
-

Week 2 — Country and City Selection
Values-aligned location research. What you need from a place beyond weather and cost of living. History, politics, economy, racial and social context. What the research says about where Black American women actually thrive versus where they initially land.
-

Week 3 — Work, Money, and Legal Reality
How to maintain or build income abroad. Financial and tax considerations most people discover too late. Visa pathways — the honest version, not the optimistic one. What your legal status actually means for your daily life.
-

Week 4 — Preparing to Go
Budget. Timeline. What to do before you leave that most people don't. The emotional and logistical preparation that determines whether the move is sustainable.
-

Week 5 — Arriving and Settling
Housing. Community. Cultural adaptation. Isolation and what to do with it. What the research shows about the first six to twelve months that no one tells you before you go.
-

Week 6 — What Comes Next
Building a life, not just a landing. Long-term sustainability. What happens when the novelty fades? Integration, belonging, and flourishing — not as aesthetics but as practice.
~ Heidi M.
“Christine was a great guide for planting my dreams into goals. I wanted someone experienced to help me sort through my ideas about moving abroad to be able to do it with intention, for me and my family. Christine encouraged me to look closely at our “why” for moving, and dive deeper into my own feelings of wanting to get out of the country NOW. This nudged me to take a good look at how my current “dream job” wasn’t what I’d hoped it would be and I started learning how to improve this part of my life now. And when I was feeling stressed about all the things, Christine inspired me to remember that things could be easier than I imagined. She listens with a full heart and gives encouraging words and advice, and helps you think outside the box. I feel really positive about our future because we’re already making connections abroad, and analyzing the different routes we can take. So grateful for this opportunity to work closely with Christine!!”
THIS IS ALSO FOR YOU IF YOU'VE ALREADY LEFT
Already abroad and navigating a recalibration? Five years in and wondering what comes next? Building something and needing to think clearly about your professional life in a new context? The advisory adapts to where you are — not just where you're going.

What People Are Saying
“Christine remembers how daunting it was to move abroad. After her own experience and interviewing dozens of other women who have done it too, she created this thoughtfully structured course to guide the planning process. The course is so comprehensive that you level up your knowledge and confidence so much faster than if you were to do it on your own and try to figure it out as you go.”
“Beyond my expectations. I was excited by the workbook, and when I read the outline for the course, I was the 1st to book! I’ve been working on moving abroad for the last year, putting together a plan from online articles Facebook groups, and YouTube videos. I’ve covered a fair amount of ground but found it a challenge because I had no structure. I’ve been working on moving abroad for the last year, putting together a plan from online articles Facebook groups, and YouTube videos. I found the space was well held and I feel much more confident about moving abroad on my terms, Empowered and excited!”
“Christine was very organized in her rollout of topics, activities and homework, and discussions. The sessions were rich in reality, encouragement, and content, and I learned more than I anticipated I would. From envisioning my intended country to understanding my home country and intended country expectations around taxation. From journaling to budgeting, and more! We really covered a lot of relevant and insightful information. As I continue to build my plan for thriving abroad, I know my plan would be heavily lacking if I had not invested in the course.
This was time and money well spent!”
