What resources (books, blogs, services, apps) did you utilize to help you go abroad & thrive abroad?

There were few when I was starting my journey, which is why I created Master Your Move Abroad [previously Las Morenas de España]. Since then, I have really focused on cultural integration to be able to help me stay abroad long-term and thrive.

What's something you wish people would ask you about your life abroad?

How to build a business that serves the life you want to live without getting caught up in consumerism or hustle culture. How to ACTUALLY integrate abroad to build long-term relationships and support systems.

What wellness practices/mindset shifts have you adopted to support your wellness, sustainability, and longevity abroad?

That moving abroad doesn't automatically heal your US mindset. There is a lot of unlearning that has to happen. Slow mornings. Being fully present in each moment vs. multi-tasking. Learning the Spanish bureaucracy to thrive long-term.

What is the motto (affirmation, prayer, poem, song lyrics, etc.) that you live by?

You are exactly where you need to be. Your time and energy are your biggest assets.
