Shea shares her story of moving to the Netherlands with her young son and her decision to stay for 20 years.

Meet Shea:

Shea Harty is a social entrepreneur, Business Coach, and Executive Director of Empowerment Foundation. Her work focuses on helping underrepresented and underserved groups change their socioeconomic situation by providing access to resources and information. Her non-profit provides career resources to immigrants living in the Netherlands with free career coaching, workshops, and programs. They also are building a community for Women in STEM with the mission to see more women in STEM in senior leadership roles, ie board level, and to provide the resources and support to female founders in STEM.

Shea is originally from New York and currently resides in Amsterdam with her family.
